Our Septum Plugs have double micro flares, approximately 0.5-0.7mm larger than the size you choose. Colors may vary slightly from order to order, and the translucent colors are darker at larger sizes. These work great in septum piercings, but also work well in nostrils and cartilage piercings.

I found firsthand that Glasswear Studios customer service is fantastic. Their team is understanding, helpful, responsive, attentive to detail, and true to their craft.
I ordered an 11mm clear eyelet and a black double-flare plug with 1/4-inch wearing surface for my septum; both fit perfectly. The flares on both do not hurt my nose, whereas flares on other pieces I have tried put too much pressure on the front and top of my nostrils.
Both items were exceptionally packaged (clean, neat, protected) and shipped quickly. It is clear they make high-quality products.
I have worn both for months and am very pleased with the plug and eyelet. I was a little skeptical of the durability of the eyelet at first but have dropped it into the counter a few times and it is solid.  

Cannot recommend them enough for someone looking for clean, durable glassware sized precisely how you order it.

I'm in the process of stretching my septum to 10mm. I purchased an 8mm plug with a 5/16" wearing surface, and it has been the most comfortable piece of jewelry I have worn in my septum. I have since purchased a 9mm and 10mm plug. The micro-flares are not hard on my nasal tissues; it's super easy to take out and put back in. Exercise caution when blowing your nose while wearing!
